Peter Jackson Steps Down as Flutter CEO, Dan Taylor to Succeed

Peter Jackson will step down as chief executive of Flutter Entertainment on October 1, with Dan Taylor appointed to replace him. Jackson will remain with the company until December in an advisory capacity.

Leadership Transition

Taylor currently serves as president and CEO of the International division. He will also take a seat on the board of directors. Board chair John Bryant noted Taylor’s experience in managing international operations and building operational teams. Jackson joined Flutter nearly nine years ago and oversaw its evolution from Paddy Power Betfair into a global digital gaming operator. "It has been such a privilege to lead Flutter's transformation, and I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved over nearly nine years," Jackson said. He added that the company retains established market positions and competitive advantages across its brand portfolio.

Quarterly Financial Results

The leadership announcement follows Flutter’s second quarter financial report for the period ending June 30. Group revenue reached $4.3m, a three percent increase year-over-year, supported by acquisitions and FIFA World Cup activity. US operations generated $1.68m, reflecting a six percent decline, with sportsbook revenue falling 15 percent while igaming revenue rose 14 percent. Adjusted EBITDA dropped 45 percent to $508,000, and average monthly players decreased 11 percent to 14.3 million.
